Lady Vol freshmen play well in season-opening exhibition win

The Lady Vols dominated Carson Newman from start to finish and picked up a 115-31 victory in their lone exhibition action of the season. Six Lady Vols scored in double-figures and all nine players who saw the floor scored. Bashaara Graves led Tennessee with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while freshmen Mercedes Russell (16 points, four blocks, and four rebounds) and Jordan Reynolds (17 points and six rebounds) were impressive in their debuts.

Tennessee returns to the court Friday night when they travel to take on MTSU.
