Alright! I’ve added them to the running list! Look for it later in the week. Thanks man.

I’ve seen that number around 12-14 but am working on finding an exact and accurate answer. Just now turning my focus from the 2013 class to the 2014 class, so I should have an exact answer for you this week. Great question, thanks for posting.

ParticipantAlso the Berry twins, and Demarre Kitt. And who are all the legacies. Who have I left out, because we need to bring them all to UT

Here’s what I’ve got on legacies:
Vic Wharton, nephew of former Vol point guard Brandon Wharton.
Dillon Bates, son of Vol/Cowboys safety Bill Bates.
Neiko Creamer, son of Vol DB Andre Creamer.
Evan and Elliot Berry.
Andrew Shofner, grandfather played for General Neyland.
Cedrick Wilson Jr., his dad played receiver for the Vols.Anyone have any others?

Coach_KParticipantI am really intrigued by the Kelly Jr kid. His highlight real is amazing! As for the Hurd kid… his stats are out of this world, but I am concerned that his running style is similar to Chris Brown (CO, Titans). He runs straight up and down, which for a tall guy can lead to knee injuries. At any rate, those are my two cents.
I think CBJ has a chance to do something historic with next years class. However, he has got help himself by putting together some quality wins this year. I am pleased to see things headed in the right direction. We have some pieces in place and are looking to land some more. ATL might not be as far off as some think…3yrs doesn’t seem crazy.
How does our off & def lineman situations sit? How many guys do we have behind the starters, and how many prospects are we targeting?
GBO!!!

Reed CarringerKeymasterThey have good depth on the offensive line this year, and aren’t especially shallow on the defensive line. Both of those units could be strengths for the Vols this year, but Tennessee could lose as many as six on both lines heading into 2014. Look for them to sign a ton of linemen on both sides of the ball next year, possibly more than half the class.

Reed CarringerKeymasterAnd I agree with you on Kelly Jr. and Butch Jones. Hurd is an unbelievable talent, but you are on to something with his running style. He’s been durable so far, and college coaches will work with him on that. Something to watch, though.

Auburn is offering him the opportunity to player either WR or DB, at least right now, and I don’t think the Vols are telling him he has to stick to one side of the ball. However, no matter what either school says, he projects as more of a DB than WR.

I’m sure it has, but we won’t know specifics until another coach is in place. I wouldn’t worry about his departure’s effect on Hurd. He’s highly interested in Tennessee, Graham or no Graham.

Coach_KParticipantWhere is Alex Bars leaning? I know he has alot of offers, but like always the “big uglies” don’t get much pub. Also what Josh Malone?
GBO!!!

Reed CarringerKeymasterAlex Bars hasn’t publicly proclaimed any leaders at this point. Graham was Malone’s primary recruiter, so we’ll have to see how that influences his recruitment, but he has UT in his top 5 with OSU, ND, VU, and SC.

ParticipantWhat about Dominique Booth. I hear he is really interested in UT. What’s going on there. Also what ever happened to 2013 recruit Malique Belfort
March 11, 2013 at 12:20 am #2972
Reed CarringerKeymasterBooth plans to visit April 6th and again for the Orange and White Game. Tennessee is one of the favorites to sign him for sure. As far as Belfort, he still hasn’t signed anywhere.

Coach_KParticipantHow ironic that I tweet yall about Mr. Hurd and hours later he commits. The snowball is now rolling. If CBJ keeps this pace he will be staring down one the top classes in the country. Just seeing the young men so excited gets me hyped! Trying my best to stay realistic, but man….it’s been a long time since we had this many positives comming down the pipeline day after day. I for one am impressed. I think the twitter element of allowing recruits to recruit other recruits is paying HUGE dividends. Jalen tweeting Treyvon and so forth. It is fun to watch in real time. GBO!!!!
