NASHVILLE—Butch Jones is on a nearly unbelievable streak on the recruiting trail, and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. In the past week Tennessee’s 2014 recruiting class has grown from one commitment to six. Treyvon Paulk, a 4-star running back from Georgia announced his commitment via Twitter this morning, “I just committed to The University of Tennessee! Gonna Bring a National Championship to Knoxville.”

He’ll join 5-star prospect Jalen Hurd in Tennessee’s backfield next year, and Hurd quickly reached out to Paulk on Twitter, “Welcome to the family man, We are about to make this class legendary !” This Vol class ranks 6th nationally per 247Sports. With dozens of top prospects visiting Knoxville in the next few days, look for the Vols to keep this momentum rolling and pick up a few more commitments before the weekend is over. Here’s more on Paulk.

A former teammate of 2013 Vol signee Ryan Jenkins, Paulk visited Tennessee February 2nd and left proclaiming the Vols as the early favorites to sign him. He plans to make it back to campus before spring is over, and may attend the Orange and White Game. Paulk rushed for 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns last year, and will likely see his stock rise as 2014 recruiting becomes the focus of most analysts. The Vols will look to sign at least two running backs next year, and would like to sign three. Paulk has notable offers from Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, TCU, and North Carolina, but committed to the Vols March 15th. Here’s one of his TD runs. For more highlights click here
