In exhibition action, Vols down Florida Southern, 105 to 80.

The Vol basketball team kicked off the season with an impressive exhibition game win against Florida Southern. In their first action of the year, Tennessee beat Florida Southern 105 to 80.

Jarnell Stokes led the scoring with 27 points and 10 rebounds while Jordan McRae recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds.

After missing last season with a knee injury, senior Jeronne Maymon had an excellent return to action with eight points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Freshman Robert Hubbs III came off the bench for his debut with 17 points and led the team in minutes-played with 29.
