Defense Continues to Dominate in Practice No. 9

KNOXVILLE—The Tennessee defense continued to take it to the offense in today’s scrimmage at Neyland Stadium–they’ve now won three straight practices. In fact, the defense has improved so much it’s hard to believe that it’s basically the same squad that finished so poorly last year. If they can stay healthy, the Vols should field an experienced and tough defensive unit this season. The energy level demonstrated by the entire coaching staff and all the players continued to impress today. Every practice has been intense and the team is clearly embracing Jones’ coaching style.

We will have a full take following Tuesday’s practice, but for now please enjoy these images from today at Neyland Stadium.
